Upcoming Litters

Planned Breeding:
Spring 2025

I first met Kylo when he was just a teenager showing at our National Specialty. He was a lovely boy and I was immediately drawn to his cool and collected demeanor. I got to meet up with Kylo again recently, and I am so excited for his potential as a wonderful match for Ronja. He is extremely compatible with her structure-wise, bringing attributes I look for to compliment her. He can come across as reserved, but it’s really only because he is so incredibly in tune to his family. He is happy and friendly, calm and collected, and absolutely loves the children of the house. He is well-behaved around other dogs (both male and female), and does not display any tendencies toward excessive barking or reactivity.

Ronja was imported from Sweden and bred by Kennel Smårsgården. She is really growing into herself and has wonderful structure and breed type. She is happy and silly with a healthy dash of independence. As Ronja has matured out of her teenage phase, she has really shown me what a versatile little worker she can be! She is excelling at agility and easily earned her Rally Novice title with scores all in the 90s-100. Ronja is a vocal Icelandic Sheepdog at home, she loves life and she loves to tell us all about everything she sees and what everyone else is doing! Outside the home, she has been easily trained to quiet down and can exist in any scenario with a level head. She has an amazing off switch and is always willing to settle calmly wherever we are – whether at a show, agility trial, or at home in the living room.

I expect this pairing to produce some really solid dogs who will do great as confident adventure companions, low level sport dogs that need some patience and encouragement, or even a potential show prospect. Ronja and Kylo both have a milder temperament, so their puppies are likely to have great ability to settle into any scenario. Puppies will be sable or black tricolor.

Planned Breeding:
Summer 2025

Bjartur was recently imported from Sweden. He is very handsome and true to the standard Icelandic Sheepdog temperament - happy at all times, confident, and loves everyone! He gets along well with other dogs, and is very good at settling at home.

Hrefna is made of sunshine and chaos. She is your do anything, never wants to be left out, patrolling the yard to drive off birds, bundle of gorgeous energy. She is everything I think an Icelandic Sheepdog should be – lovely breed type, substance, versatile, driven. She loves anything that involves food or running and having a good time! She has never met a stranger and is unwaveringly confident in any scenario.

From this pairing, I am expecting lovely dogs with good substance and breed type, solidly confident temperaments, and versatility to achieve whatever you wish! They will likely excel at sports with plenty of drive and energy. Puppies will be sable/red.
